Here in the depths of winter, we look back on the great year that we had in 2009, and hope for new successes in 2010. Except for the first two weeks of February, when we will be on vacation, the studio remains OPEN BY APPOINTMENT.  Call 716 257 9549 and let us know when we can get together.      

After a great holiday open house, we were pleased to see that even though our customers took home many pots that we hope will become new favorites, we still have a good selection of pottery for you to choose from.  

Before we know it the new business year will be upon us and we will resume our usual hours May 1, 2010.  

There are still a few remaining piglets from last year’s litter of piggy banks, and they would love to find new homes! These irresistibly cute banks are just the thing to help young people acquire a savings habit. Made of the same stoneware clay that we use for our plates and mugs, these piggy banks are about 5 & 1/2 inches high and each comes with a certificate of birth and a name.  Many of this year’s litter found homes during  the HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE, but there is still a good selection for you to choose from.  Why not treat a niece or nephew (or yourself!) to the pleasure of owning a real Hog-Shed Piggy Bank?

The drive to  Hog-Shed Studio Pottery takes you through some of the most beautiful spots in Western New York! After a wintery drive, what could be better than to have the  pleasure of seeing the functional elegance that is reflected in each piece of stoneware pottery. We hope to be seeing you soon!
