Our 25th Annual Holiday Open House in early November was a great success!  Many devoted customers returned to purchase gifts for friends and family and to add to their own pottery collections.  (It was wonderful to see you again and we thank you all for your continued support!)

There were also many new people who came for the first time thanks to Kevin O’Neil who interviewed us on November 3rd for the “Celebrate WNY” segment of the Daybreak Show on Channel 2.   We were amazed by how many people watch TV at 6:00 am and grateful for the wonderful exposure it gave us.     

Now, as we turn the calendar over to the month of December, we are in the final stages of production for the 2011 pottery season.  Elliott will be busy for the next week or two glazing the last of the Christmas orders which Michael will load into the kiln for the final glaze firings of the year.  The buckets of glaze are uncomfortably cold now and the water in the studio will soon be frozen.  Soon it will be time for our winter break – a few months of “down time” when we get the creative juices flowing and plan some new pottery designs for the coming year.
