A reverence for wood is the underlying philosophy of WoodSwork Carvings.  Dug Stein has been inspired by wood throughout his life, from whittling as a boy to his current occupations as a carpenter and wood artist.  

All elements of WoodSwork are designed and hand made by Dug.  He designed and built the WoodSwork  shop, using wood salvaged from five local barns.  Inside the shop is a myriad of handcrafted wood objects - figures, sculptures, reliefs, furniture, and treenware (wooden kitchen utensils). Most of the wood is harvested from Dug’s own land.  

Dug will also carve made-to-order requests, including tree sculptures on your property.
