How to Make A Pot
	On the pot below, Elliott is altering the surface of the side of the pot to add texture by shaving or cutting the side of the pot with a thin, curly wire., In the second picture, it's ready to be cut from the potter's wheel. A fine wire is drawn under the pot and pressed against the potter's wheel head to disconnect the newly formed pot. The clay is still soft, so care must be taken not to distort the shape.
