	How to Make A Pot Page Three
	The raised cylinder can be raised or "pulled" two or three times to achieve its maximum height. While still concentrating on keeping the pot centered, the potter begins to change the shape from a simple cylinder to the desired shape, in this case a vase.
When the pot has reached its full shape, the lip must be refined, gently forming the shape that works best for each pot. If the pot is to be used for drinking, such as a mug or a cup, the lip must be comfortable to the mouth.
